2010 Boys Lacrosse Captain's Practice Update

Captains Practice will be held this week, M-F, from 3:30-5:00 at the High School turf field.

Starting 3/29, regular practice will be from 5:30-7:30 at the High School turf field.

Try-outs will start 4/5 from 5:30-7:30 at the High School turf field. After the teams have been picked, the Coaches will let them know practice times for their team.

Please remember to register for Lacrosse this week. Go on the High School website for instructions.

2010 Season Captain's Practice Schedule...

Hi all,
Here is some information concerning the High School Boys Lacrosse team.  There is alot, so please read carefully!
Captains Practice-  Captains practice will start Mon 3/15.  Because of the snow on the fields, at this moment, Captains practice will be held in the fieldhouse from 8:00-10:00 PM.  As soon as we are able to get on the fields this location and time will change.  Please have your son listen to announcements at their school for any changes.  It will be announced at the High School and both Middle Schools.  For the first day, they should bring their gloves, helmets, and sticks.

Registration for Lacrosse will be online starting 3/22-3/26.  If you are a first time participant of a High School sport, please read all the information on how to register.  Your son must have a current physical on file at your school (you can download the form off the website).  After you register online, your son must bring in the appropriate forms to pick up the participation pass. There is a late fee, if this is not done on time,  check the dates on the website.  Your player must bring the pass to the first day of High School practice.  They will not be allowed to practice without it.

Practice will start on Mon 3/29.  This is mandated by the High School league.  Of course Edina has spring break that week...  If your player is in town, practice for all players will be 5:30-7:30 at the High School turf field.  Once teams have been picked, the Coaches will let them know when their specific team is practicing.  The game schedules can be accessed on the High School website, check under athletics.

There is a Mandatory Parents/Players meeting on Mon 4/12, 7:45PM @ High School cafeteria.  We will discuss the season schedule & goals, sign up for volunteer opportunities, pay team assessment and if you want to purchase team apparel.  Please plan on being there and bring your checkbook!
